Excerpt From "Ang Walang Hanggan"

"Ang Walang Hanggan" is a radio play we recorded last Sunday at Jesuit Communications Studio - Sonlux Builiding, Ateneo de Manila; together with ENTABLADO people: Alden, Jinno, Jose, Timme, Dolly, and Sang Mee. This is the scene where Joseph (the main character) read the letter from her bestfriend Anne.

ANNA:

Dear Joseph

Im sorry… I have to write this. Baka kasi hindi ko na masabi sayo lahat, at mas maganda rmaibubuhos ko ang lahat. Exicited din akong makita, kaya eto, I just want to write it just in case makalimutan ko na ang lahat…

ANNA:
There are no words that can describe how I felt na pinagtapat mo na sa akin ang totoo mong nararamdaman. And i… I feel so much relieved that moment. Pasensya na kung natahimik ako, natutuwa lang ako talaga.

Joseph… I have known you for so long… you are my best friend. And I hope alam mo na special ka sa akin. Bata pa lang tayo nang makilala kita. Sa bawat araw na iyon, nanatili lahat iyon na masayang mga aalala…

Joseph, thank you for loving me. And yes, I do love you too. I have waited for this time. Alam mo bang dapat umalis na rin kami ng pamilya ko to go to Canada? But I asked to if I can stay. Actually, I wanted to stay because of you. Ikaw lang ang dahilan ko kung bakit ako ngayon nandito. Joseph… all I want to be with is you.

Naalala mo ba noong minsan may hindi ako masabi sayo na kinuwento ko Fr. Emmanuel? I was actually praying for you. For you to be safe, and for you to be good. Wala naman akong hiniling sa Diyos lagi kungdi para sayo lang. (malungkot na boses) You have been good to me Joseph, and sometimes I wonder if I never had time to show you just how much I really did love you.

ANNA:

You have shown me so much while you have been in my life that if I lost you I could not live. You have shown me how to live and you have shown me how to be truly happy. I want you to know that every time I smile, you have put it there. You make me smile when others can't, you make me feel warm when I am cold.

ANNA:
You have shown me so much love and so much more. I want you to know how much you mean to me. You are my whole world and I love you with all my heart, you are my happiness. At wala nang makakahadlang sa akin. Asahan mo walang hanggan din itong nararamdaman kong ito. kahit magkalayo tayo, o hindi na kita magkita.

O siya, bukas na lang yung iba… at least nailabas ko lang ang nararamdaman ng dibdib ko… excited na akong makita ka. Bukas may sopresa ako sayo… Till tomorrow! See you!
